About Gloria Early



Born in a military family, Gloria Early studied music under two women who were listed in Who's Who of American Women. These teachers are Grace Hoffheimer and Ruth Burr. Grace Hoffheimer, is listed in Who's Who of American Women as a concert artist. Ruth Burr is listed in that same resource as a great teacher and has many professional credits under her name. Both of these teachers are viewed by the National Piano Teacher's Guild as esteemed teachers and can still be found in articles on the internet today.

While a student of Grace Hoffheimer, Ms. Early played at Carnegie Hall before Guild Judge Rilda Van Cliburn in Manhatten, New York, New York. Rilda Van Cliburn is the sister of concert artist Van Cliburn.

While a high school student at Stephen F. Austin High School, in Bryan Texas, Gloria Early won a 4 day Sonata Contest as part of a Bryan College Station Music Teacher's Association sponsored event.

Before becoming a contract teacher for Anthem School of Music, LLC at the Dominion in San Antonio, Texas in 2014 and more recently for Bill Hill Music in New Braunfels, Texas in 2017, Ms. Early privately taught music in students homes for approximately seven years. At this time, Ms. Early's teaching experience spans eleven years. Ms. Early will tell anyone that asks her, that teaching music to young people is her greatest joy in life.

Gloria Early is currently studying piano and vocal performance at San Antonio College, San Antonio, Texas to supplement her previous training with the Guild and years of experience.
